A typical;day- Mommy’s version:;

Kiddo decided to wake me up earlier than usual.
He decided to be extra cranky and clingy today.
As usual he was fussy to finish his breakfast and finally made a mess after the tantrum to try and eat on his own.
Shower was a nightmare today too with kiddo banging at the door all the while.
When I finally sat down to have my breakfast at 1 PM, he managed to topple the plate and made that innocent face!
And before I could do the dishes and turn around, I saw the house was a mess and he had spilled water colors all over the floor.
Kiddo was going all day with his million questions again.
That was one long day I can’t wait to go to bed!
A typical day- Baby’s version-
I couldn't wait to wake up and play with mommy- so I woke her up early.
I was really excited as our day started early and I was happily going with mommy everywhere.
I love the stories mommy tells when I eat and I didn't want breakfast time to end. But mommy was busy and so I tried to eat by myself.
I missed mommy so much when she left me and went to take a shower.
Mommy was eating her breakfast late so I tried to get her plate and feed her but I ended up dropping it.
Mommy was doing the dishes and I thought of painting something for her but mommy was upset that I spilled paint all over the floor.
I asked mommy so many questions and like always she knew everything- I learnt so much today.
That was such a short day I can’t wait to wake up and again play with mommy.
Sorry mommy, I give you so much work. But being a baby isn't easy for me. I trust not anyone but you mommy. Don’t touch the electrical socket (you say it’s dangerous but I see you touch them mommy), don’t run up and down the stairs (but I see you walk up and down all day mommy), don’t touch anything sharp (I don’t even know what “sharp” is), don’t do this, don’t do that, do this that way, do that this way. There are too many things I should remember mommy but all that my mind remembers is you- the way you talk, the way you look at me, the way we cuddle. It is all new to me mommy- I promise I will learn- I might learn it slow but I will learn one day mommy. Till that day, bear with me mommy please. Don’t be upset with me. I know not the consequences of what I do. Everyone around me is so big; everyone around me is able to do everything by themselves. So I try mommy because you taught me to be perseverant- like you taught me to get up and walk again when I kept falling down. I do everything I do because you do them all mommy and I wanna imitate you because I wanna be just like you. Being a baby isn't easy mommy but I will be the best baby because I love you so much mommy!!
