‌Aanchal. After mother's womb I think the only safe place is 'maa ka aanchal'. Today my 16 month old daughter was playing with my dupatta n while I was praying with my head coverd my angel did the same. It took me back in time when i used to to the same with my mother's scarves n dupattas. I dont think there is any girl who has not used her mother's dupatta to tie her first saree or make their first tent. The world is so peaceful n safe under the translucenct cover. The dupatta has saved us from mosquitoes, rain, harsh sunlight, wiped our tears and maybe sometimes runny nose too. My girl follows me where I go holding my dupatta which reminds me of my time with my mother. A lifeless piece of cloth when worn by a mother can become the only thing a child might need. That's the strength of a mother.
