Hey I differ here, my bub is 5 months and I'm all prepared for her weaning off. WHO recommends breast milk/fm should be the main source of nutrition till 1 year, 3 days same food is obsolete now, if you are serving anything new give in the first half of the day and look for allergy. 1 meal per month is recommended.

I would say three times a day and the same dal rice is not a good idea. You should focus on varieties and also start slow... In 6th month one or two meal is enough. Better start with steamed and mashed veggies and fruits once a day and dal rice once. And slowly increase.
