An easy-to-make and healthy recipe that keeps you full for a longer period of time.
Ingredients
1 cup green gram dal
1 cup parboiled rice
½ cup spinach (puree and blanched)
Salt
Cooking oil
Batter fermentation:
- Soak the dal and parboiled rice in enough water for 3- 4 hours.
- Drain the water and grind the mixture in a blender and make it into a smooth batter. (Add a little amount of water to adjust the consistency)
- Transfer the batter to a bowl and allow it to ferment overnight.
How to prepare:
- After fermentation, add spinach, salt (as per the taste) and mix well.
- Use a non-stick flat pan to cook the dosa on medium flame till the edges of the dosa turn golden brown in colour. (Use a minimum amount of oil for greasing and cooking)
- Once cooked transfer the dosa to a plate and enjoy it with your favourite chutney.
