Anger..doesn’t have to define your parenthood . . . Every parent gets angry at his or her children sometimes..it’s an emotion remember! We do it because there are always the endless pressures of life: household chores, cooking, laundry, appointments we’re late to, things we’ve forgotten until the last moment, health and financial worries —the list is endless. . . . Make a note of your triggers — am I hungry?too tired? overwhelmed? sick or simply not in a mood? When you notice these...it gets easier. You can calm yourself down..agree? . . Parents and kids have the ability to trigger each other as no one else can. Even as adults we are often irrational in relation to our own parents. The question arises who has greater power to annoy you and make you act childish than your own mother or father? No one else right! . . These emotions that come and go away in a span of few minutes...doesn’t have to do anything with your parenting or it doesn’t really mean you’re any less of a good parent. It’s natural to feel so..it’s okay to react..it’s okay..okay!🌸 . . . Tell yourself this . . “I am too mad right now to talk about this. I am going to take a timeout and calm down.” . . Breathe. You’re still a good parent. #bbcreatorsclub#babychakramom#babychakrapost#youngmomjournal#mamaofsimra#anger#angermanagement#parenting#parenthood#motherhood
