I am a new mom and have not been able to lactate which makes me feel very incomplete and I feel I am not fulfilling my duties towards my son. When he cries my heart wrenches and I feel very helpless. I really really need some serious help to manage myself emotionally as I am breaking down completely. I am being forced to give formula milk for lack of any solution and no one at home is understanding my emotional state. Pl help!!

I totally agree with every one above... not being able to breastfeed doesn't make you less of a mom...
I'm sure you have tried every possible thing... also the fact that this disturbs you... itself shows how badly you want to nurse your baby... if it doesn't work go ahead and bottle fed your baby.. all the best

Fed is best! your a great mum doing a great job. If you want help with breastfeeding contact a lactation consultant or la leche league india. The majority of women can breastfeed, many are unable because they are not given the correct support or information . Dr's are not trained in breastfeeding.

relax friend.. bottle feeding cam be done with equal love
also try pumping milk with a good quality pump and basically relax.
if you produce milk well n good..if you don't there is nothing to feel guilty.
and ofcourse you the best mother to your son
