Viability of pregnancy which confirms the heart beat, Nuchal translucency NT scan by 12 weeks and anomaly scan around 18 to 22 weeks are done in most cases, after anomoly it depends on your pregnancy.; Any complications arises as the weeks pass by then scans will be there . Some pregnant ladies has 3 or 4 scans some goes every month. So there is no hard and fast rules. Blood test : tsh, cbc , double marker at the beginning then by 28th week GTT; (sugar test) again as and when needed they will ask you to. So go by your doctor whatever she asks you to do please do it.
