we can't exactly term it as colour blind but yes till few days all they see is black and white as their vision is not developed but slowly they start recognising colours but still they have an affinity toe=wards black and white or rather contrasting colours till 6 months...

Yes they are color blind....they touch things and sense them...they truly understands the touch of the mother. Gradually after 6 months they recognise things.
