Rape, It's a topic which stokes my mind every other day I realise I have more responsibility bring up a son then a daughter. I want to reach my son to 'Respect a woman' which is lacking a lot in India. I don't want my son to take his sister for granted. If mutual respect is important in any relationship im going to start to teach them respect the differences, respect she is a woman, respect her opinion, respect bcoz she deserves it.; I have not planned how I'm to going build my son as a good human being which I'm definitely going to do it at the same time I know l will teach my daughter to stand for herself and demand respect from every one. Bcoz I know we mom's ll make difference teching our sons how to respect and at the same time I don't want to forget my daughter as to live with in the society which are already filled with morons. Teching my daughter right and wrong touch. Never letting any one to call her wife and girlfriend. Never force her to sit on any strangers. I don't even let my husband change her nappy bcoz I want her to know no one else as rights to touch her private parts except mom. Initially it went very rude for my husband but it remands practice for a innocent baby to realise it.

Death sentence within a weeks judgment time should be followed ..
Nothing less than death is what these rapist deserve
And also should never be tried as juvenile , someone who knows how to rape is never a juvenile.... Zero tolerance is what I would like to teach the next generation of girls ....

Whenever I read about such incidents esp related to little girls, it takes me days to recover and I am not exaggerating. Being a mother to a girl myself, living in this lawless country has become a nightmare.if the police is also involved in such crimes,I don't know whom to trust. Infact every other day there is news about child rapes done by their own family members. First of all we should all take a pledge that we will teach our boys how to respect women, every women. Be it his mom, sister, grandma, aunt, friend, stranger, maid - he has no right to teach them as a lesser sex. They are equals in every damn sense. This will take time but if we all try, things will definitely change. Yesterday only I was watching a documentary on the rape culture in Haryana. An eight year old boy blamed the girls for attracting boys and forcing them to rape. Are you serious? Who taught him this? My stomach churned and I felt like vomiting on this sick mentality. Please don't raise your boys to be monsters. 🙏🏻 As far as law in the country goes, the laws have been drafted but the implementation lacks big time. We need stringent punishment for the culprits. He should be given the toughest punishment made in law.
