As advised by my pedia, I started my daughter's solid with well cooked daal . I started with moong ki daal where I cooked it with extra water and extra whistles and added a drop of ghee and a pinch of salt . I never passed it through strainer to get the watery amount and always fed my daughter particles of daal . It's a common habit to feed only daal ka water to the babies in the start which has basically no nutritional value . Always give well cooked fall to your baby .
