As mothers we all experience our babies having a hiccup or two during and after feeding. This could be due to overfeeding, gas, gulping of air, reflux, or at times when the tummy is full.
When babies experience hiccups while they are feeding, the first thing to do is to take a break for some time from feeding and gently patting on your baby’s back, cuddling, or trying to make them burp. A change in the position i.e making your baby sit upright can also help stop hiccups.
Another thing to keep in mind is to avoid making your baby lie down immediately after feeding. Instead, make him/her sit upright for some time to prevent hiccups.
A couple of hiccups are nothing to worry about and are quite natural to experience by babies. Some extra love, cuddle and tricks can fix them in no time.

Very correctly said, Seema. In fact, making a baby lie down can further increase the chance of gas in babies. https://www.babychakra.com/learn/7865-how-to-relieve-gas-in-an-infant.
