As mothers, we are always worried about our little ones. Be it a common cold, fever, rash, or just a hiccup.
When it comes to fever in babies here are a few things to keep in mind.

When in fever always dress your baby in thin clothing and keep the room cool.
Avoid wrapping your baby in thick blankets as by doing so you are preventing the heat to get eliminated from the body.
Keep a good fluid intake. Give more breastmilk, warm soups, or broths in small amounts at equal time intervals to prevent dehydration.
When it comes to solid foods, give easy-to-digest foods like curd with rice, khichdi, vegetable purees, etc.
Do not avoid bathing. Bathe your baby with lukewarm water at least once a day.

Most importantly if the baby is below 3 months of age or is suffering from a fever for more than 24 hours or has a high degree fever, then contact your doctor immediately.
