As we all know that today is Teacher's Day.Teachers's Day is a special day for the appreciation of teachers and may include celebrations to honor them for their special contributions in a particular field area or the community.

Teacher's Day is celebrated every year on 5 september all over India as an occasion to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts and hardwork of our teachers in making us sophisticated and responsible individuals.The celebrtion of Teacher's Day in school is definitely one of the best memories for many of us.

Teacher's Day is also celebrated as the birth anniversary of India's second president ,Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.He was of the opinion that "Teachers should be the best minds in the country".When he became the second president of India,his students was eager to celebrate his birthday as 'Radhakrishnan Day' but he refused their idea by saying "Instead of celebrating my birthday,it would be my proud privilege if September 5is observed as Teacher's Day.Ever since then,his birthday is observed as Teacher's Day all over the country.

So this day is celebrated to honour teachers ,who are the architects of the society without which no society can progress.
