I have gestational diabetes and urine infection.Dr suggest me to have diamet 500mg and furent 100mg.Is that any problem for taking these medicines..? How will it affect the baby and what precautions do I take?
Please advise the food diet(fruits and meals)and excercises.
Dr told me dont try any excercise this time.
(Fasting;; 109, after food 132)this is my sugar level.

I also had the same prob. Gestation diabetes and urine infection. And because of urine infection my cervical length reduced to 1.3cm. I was admitted to hospital to prevent preterm delivery. I was on very heavy anti biotics. There are many types of virus for urine infevtion. Alag alag virus ko cure krne k lie medicines bhi alag hoti hain. I was not prescribed the same medicines that you have. But for precautions I'm taking coconut water daily. Dr.told me to take cranberry juice. I was unable to take it daily as market wale me sugar bht hoti hai. Or ghar pr bnana asan nhi tha. So dr. gave me cranberry extract capsules. She told me to drink approx 3ltr water and to never hold urine bcz it can increase the infection. She also gave me Citirc soda to reduce burning sensation and the heaviness while passing urine.
