Atarah ki Mummy

Everything changes after marriage, relocating to Mumbai from Chennai was no easy but I got used to it.. When people want to address me they say "Mrs. Prakash" few of our relatives address me by name.. some " Judy's Bahu" "Amit's wife (that's his nick name)". Well everything was going fine till all my friends were addressed as" So and So mom", But I remained as Mrs. Prakash.

I still remember in 2014 I helped a little boy getting his cycle inside our apartment lift and he thanked me. I was impressed by his gratitude and tried striking a conversation with him till he questioned me " Aap kis ki Mummy heh Aunty" I was broken and shattered at that moment but strong women in me said "I'm Rebecca I live in 502". Days, months and years passed but I remained as Mrs. Prakash.. Thanks to the Almighty things have changed now but I'm so used to Mrs. Prakash and Hi I'm Rebecca..
Yesterday I had to call my daughter 's mavshi to change her timings and I started blabbering "err Rebecca.. Calling from Prem Pride.. Meh 1001 wali" And the Mavshi replied " ATARAH KI MUMMY HEH NA" 😍 Yes I'm Atarah' s mom... What a proud title this is! My mom was confused looking at my teary eyes. 😂
Thank you Atarah for making me your mom! And I pray every women gets this title.
