My dad would help me write my elocution & debate pieces when i was in school. He's a wordsmith and his love for words sort of got passed on to us two sisters.

My parents were born in district multan, the neighbour of sindh, which is no longer a part of india. They were children in 1947 and had to leave their homes and relocate to the new india during partition (with their respective families).

My dad has written a diary of his childhood memories of this journey from multan to mehrauli (south delhi).

Daddy got this book printed privately to circulate amongst family and friends :)

My author was also my DAD!!! He had a great language skills especially in english and kannada.. he was one and only Mech.Engi in whole 20 surrounded villages who posted under central govt of india- in those old days.. I was a great dumb in school days- i started schooling under CBSE in nursery itself but i never ever talked in english till 8th std,, so many never believe me for this.. My dad controlled a lot, but one fine day, he said mom not to serve a meal until she asks the same in english,,, there i started- Mom, i want water and food 😂😂 and never turned back!! He helped me lot in vocabularies, debates, essay writtings and tutor in maths 😊 so many get surprise that i never ever had one tution class and completed PG!!! I want my hubby to be like my dad!!! #authorsday #mydadmyhero
