Babies born before the full term (37 weeks) are preemie babies and struggle to survive. Today we honor the healthcare givers, Preemie Parents and all the Preemie babies all over the World.
If you have a Preemie baby or know one please share what challenges were faced and how your preemie child is doing. #WorldPrematurityDay

I am a premie!
My twin n me were born at 34 weeks. Spent nearly a month in NICU. There were only two hospitals with incubators in those days, in whole of Mumbai. (Only one sonography centre).
When we came home, she had two tiny premies and an older 5 yr old, and a joint family to take care off.
I shudder to think of what she must have gone through.
I hope to get at least 10 % of the strength and grace she has.
Hats off to all premie moms n dads.
