Babies have growth spurts around fifteen days, one month, three months and then again around six months. At this time they ask for more milk and tend to feed often and longer making the mother feel exhausted and start worrying about her milk supply. These growth spurts are normal and the best solution is to feed your baby frequently. It will last for 24-48 hours and in this duration your milk supply will also increase. It's best to not start supplemental feed during growth spurts. Sonali's Desk

Thank you Sonali. I see that my baby's appetite has increased so am guessing it to be growth spurt. But does it happen only once in the days mentioned or can it happen multiple times? Like 3-4 different times in the 3rd or 6th month?
