For babies go for Endowment plan...somehow i always prefer LIC for endowments.. check jeevan anand policy.. its quite good.. frankly, i have not done insurance policy for my child.. i have invested in mutual funds n stock market. Reason, i belive insurance is done so that there i s financial security for ppl whi are left behind Which is not the case with a <u>kid</u>
