Baby led weaning can seem scary and daunting. But the feeling when your baby eats on their own is just incomparable! So how and where to start?
1.Start early! The earlier you start the easier it is to adapt.
2.Start with soft finger foods like banana, steamed carrots which are easier to chew
3.Help them self feed the first few times and sit with them and eat your food
Still not sure how to start BLW? Try Responsive feeding. It’s still baby led where you take the spoon/ bite to the baby and let them respond by either taking it from your hand or leaning in to eat.
