BABY OR KIDS APPAREL Hi guys.....I am shopoholic and clothes are my favourite things to shop.Hence it was clear in my mind from the time of pregnancy itself that i am going to shop a loads of clothes for my child. Sharing here my quickfix guide for baby apparel shopping:- 1. Fabric Texture:- Baby skin is softer than cotton so till first 2 year no fabric other than Mulmal or Cotton. That too i check by rubbing the fabric of apparel on my cheeks and than only decide to purchase. 2. Price Range:- It depends upon affordability and how much you wish to spend even if you can afford certain brands. For me i always had in mind that kids outgrow clothes very fast in younger age so throwing huge amounts just to showoff particular brand was not the case rather i went for local trusted brands wherein i can buy many clothes in my decided budget. 3. Shopping Online verses Offline:- I had ordered first few of Raj's apparels online but found out that infants usually does not fits in newborn baby clothes ordered online so shifted to local shops and that brands fitted very well. But once my son turned 6 months, online shopped clothes fitted him very well and now Firstcry and Hopscotch are my on the go apps for his shopping. 4. Fit of Apparel:- This is the keypoint because mostly people select one size bigger than the actual size so that the apparel does not outgrow easily. But it will make the whole look of child unpolished by loose fittings so please select the current size. 5. Ordering Traditional Outfits:- Once we had to attend a wedding function when Raj was 9 months old so being an excited patents we went to various stores looking for traditional outfits and found out that they charge a bomb based on the quality we were looking. So we bought a simple Kurta and Churidar for him and went to my local tailor and made koti and sherwani from the left out material of my dress and it turned out very well plus we all were colour coordinated. 6. What to do with Outgrown clothes:- Honestly speaking i have kept 90% of his clothes packed in vaccum bags for lifetime memory as each piece has some or other story attached with it. But with his 10% used clothes and toys, feeding bottles, bath tubs etc i had donated it to an orphanage near my place. #BBCreatorsClub #Babyfashion #Babyapparel #Childfashion #babychakraapp #mumbaimombloggers
