Baby Uday has had a busy morning.  Apparently, we like the mornings to be busy as well.  Before baby, the days were mostly very clockwork.  Wake up,  make breakfast, head to work,  be back from work,  spend the evening in the kitchen,  watch some TV and time for bed.

After baby,  it is only seventeen minutes past two but so much has happened. Our usual day starts with laundry, then mummy gulps her breakfast with rollercoaster speed (I have forgotten food has a taste,  I now eat not to savour but only and only to produce milk for the baby. I mean where is the time?)  If I was on "Minute to win it"( television show) I would be win it before they would say Go! I defy time now!  And surely enough the alarm bell rings and to my ears it sounds,  "mummmyyy your baby is hungrier than you are.  Feeeeddddd meeee " Oh well!  Do I have an option?  There little monster in the angel baby is up and wants his food.

I feed the baby.

Once the baby is fed and burped and time gapped, it's time for his massage and bath.

Babies live like kings and queens.  Someone to massage them,  to feed them, to clean their poo and pee, to run after them, to bathe them.

Aye aye your majesty!  Your wish is my command.

Sure does baby looks like he's at the spa enjoying his "oh-so-pamper-me-because-I-am-the-boss massage and sauna like bath"

Once bathed, he has visitors today.  A two year old girl, who thinks she's all grown up. (my childhood friend's daughter,  Gosh!  Only yesterday we were giggling like teenage girls at our crushes,  look at us now!  Kids and all!  Where did all the years go?)

The girl is really fascinated by the"baybee" (she has the cutest British accent). She cuddles the baybee, kisses the baybee, wants the baybee to have baaboo(milk) and then insists that the baybee watches Peppa pig.  On any other day , Uday spends every morning keeping us on our toes.  Today,  he chooses to ignore the little girl and pretend to sleep.  He is clearly NOT amused. Well we do have enough amusement from the little girl. I think one happy baby and one sleepy baby, in the house makes it a peaceful house.  What do you think?  And who knows, if I get lucky today,  I might get a few hours of afternoon nap. I believe in miracles!  @Priya Sood
