i prefer Montessori for early years. from first standard i want my baby to study in state syllabus. i find even cbse to be too taxing on children. nowadays all parents enroll their children in either cbse or icse. throughout the year they have some test or exam. its so rare to see my nephews and nieces that i decided that my child would study in the simplest syllabus. knowledge is not gained from school books alone - that is my view...

Montessori is a philosophy while all others are boards. any philosophy can be adapted to different boards.

As long as the school is good and focuses more on studies it doesn't matter what the syllabus is.

I prefer Montessori for young kids or who have joined school newly ( like my kid). Environment will be friendly, easy to move. setup will be homely. Less students and more attention to kids. From 1st standard....I prefer CBSE. Kid who want to.learn will learn and do well...in any sort of syllabus. But I feel... there should not be so much burden on kids. In other countries... education is not as tough. I always appreciate my mom...who never interfered in my studies. She always had one single sentence...."
