Jokes apart, balls are best for babies too, to start playing with as a rolling ball encourages movements and helps to develop hand - eye coordination. So, here are 4 types of balls that can be introduced to babies.
1) Ping-pong ball

We have all played with ping pong balls. Babies can fpcus their eyesight and fathom depth as early as 3 months. So a ping pong ball is best to excersice their eyes and their neck as well. A ping pong ball with colourful flash light is a add on to grab attention of the baby. It is a potential first ball for the baby.
2) Soft ball - A soft plush cushion like ball is easy to hold, harmless to throw and even has texture to it.
