Dear mums, ; ; ; ; ;As; I discussed earlier in take over that my c-section was unplanned n it was an emergency.so I thought to write about planned n unplanned c -sec ....
Though many women are certain ahead of time that they’ll have a C-section for different reasons, you may plan to have a vaginal birth only to find that your plan has to change. During labor or delivery, your doctor might determine that you need to have a C-section right away. This can be a sudden change if your health or your baby’s health takes a turn for the worse and it’s too risky for you to have a vaginal birth.
Reasons for an Emergency C-section If you need an emergency C-section, your doctor has decided that you or your baby are in dire stress and immediate delivery is the only option. Possible reasons for an emergency cesarean include: 1)Fetal or maternal distress 2) Prolapsed umbilical cord; 3)Maternal hemorrhage 4)Placenta abruption; 5)Uterine rupture;
unplanned C-section could include: 1) Labor isn't progressing. 2) Contractions are too weak. 3) Baby isn’t tolerating labor. 4) Baby is sideways or breech when labor begins.
If your caesarean section (c-section) isplanned, your midwife will give you information about what to do on the day, including: date and time to arrive at the hospital. when to stop eating and drinking – this is usually six to eight hours before your c-section.

Many of us prepare for natural and train ourselves for the 9 months over and over again. It's also important to accept that either methods of birthing are okay and that the health of the mother and the child are important.
Mentally prepare yourself for either methods

@616db8da9dc2de0015c75156 I have shared it in one of my takeover posts... It was the end of my 40th week of pregnancy and I had PUPPPS irritating me too much.. I didn't wanted to wait anymore so I went to the doctor for pain induction. Doctor did all the check-ups and told that cervix was closed n head was not attached. Labor didn't seem to be coming. After the scan, we came to know that in the 40-weeks of pregnancy, baby's head was 40 weeks and 2 days old and the abdomen was 41weeks old becz of increased amniotic fluid.
