#bbcreatorsclub#bbcreatormom#notsoperfectmummy#strikethebalance My mother is a working woman, she always inspired me the way she manages everything. She advises me " Always be financially independent". “Everyone needs their wing to fly, it can’t be borrowed” and I believed in this thing. Being financially independence gives me that wings and it give ability to live your life on your own term.; Obviously, it is again a personal choice, everyone can decide for themselves whether you want to work or stay home and I respect them. Coming to my point, after joining work everyone questioned how to do manage kid, home and work. Do you get time to spend with your child and bla bla. First thing, I get enough time for everything be it spending time with my son, cooking, cleaning, rest everything. How I manage it? With just a planning and time management you can manage everything very smoothly. ;I can guarantee you that little planning and managing your time well, will help you to strike the right work home balance: - 1);;;;;;Time Management: One of the most effective skills you can have in life is powerful and effective time management. If you're not managing your time well, there's no way you're going to reach your goals at work and the life outside of it.;;Set a specific time for everything, create a routine/schedule and once you do it for a few days it will become a habit. ; 2);;;;;;To-do List: - Making a list will give you a clear picture of what all you need to do the next day. Always do it a night before, I use this app “Any.do” this is convenient.; You may have a to-do list with 20 tasks on it, so you need to prioritize those tasks, and accordingly, do it. ;(I will post a picture of my list for reference). Focus and finish one thing at a time instead of trying to do everything at a time and goofing up.
; See below: ·;;;;;;;Urgent and important task ·;;;;;;;Important but not urgent task ·;;;;;;;Urgent but not important task ·;;;;;;;Neither urgent nor important task
1); ; ;Planning: - I want my morning to be stress-free because If the day starts positively, you will be happy all day plus more focused and energetic. Plan everything right from meal to what will you wear. ; ·;;;;;;;Work Clothes – Arrange clothes week-wise on the weekend itself, if that is not done. Decide a night before. Clothes, accessories and make a small makeup bag which has your daily used products, keep this already this will save you time in the morning. You can ask your husband to follow the same or you can do for him, so you will not waste time searching his socks in the morning. I do it for my son as well, so later my mother in law doesn’t get stressed. ; ·;;;;;;;Meal Planning – This makes life so easy, shop for the ingredients at the weekends and make a menu list for a week.; I do all the required prep the night before, I chop the veggies and get the dough ready and keep in the fridge. Soak the pulses while leaving for work, so for next day I boil and refrigerate it. Trust me a little planning can save a lot of time. (I can do a full post on this with trios and tricks, let me know in comments if anyone wants that). Now, my son eats everything but earlier, I created a menu list for him as well. This will take 10 minutes to plan but this will help you to save that daily some time which we spend on thinking about what to make. ; ·;;;;;;;Invest in kitchen appliances, like a chopper or a food processor, if you have a big family like mine, it helps. Also, you can get a toaster to make sandwiches in morning breakfast, easy and simple.; I will share the pictures of my menu list in pictures for reference. ·;;;;;;;I always make sure to not pile up dishes, clean as you go. The clean kitchen once done this will make life easier. If you can afford, hire a maid for all this work. Do the laundry alternate day, do a dusting once a week. If you don’t pile up work, then it will be easier to finish. ·;;;;;;;I like to do most of my household chores on weekends, like dusting and cleaning. Laundry and ironing clothes. Shopping for fruits and veggies, etc. Keep this kind of task for weekends and keep the menu simple on weekends, so you can rest.
;
·;;;;;;;Ask your husband to help you out, ask him to make a Sunday breakfast or load the laundry, so things together.
;
1);;;;;;Make time for yourself ·;;;;;;;Get up 15 minutes early, then your usual time. Give this me time to yourself. Read the new paper or just have a tea in peace. Go for a walk or just go and stand in the balcony to breathe the fresh sir. This will clear your thought, give you peace. Getting up late and then rushing to the office will make you all grumpy, so do try this it helps. ·;;;;;;;Eat right, try to sleep on time, read a book instead of being on the phone at night. ·;;;;;;;Go to the salon to pamper yourself or meet friends over a weekend, make time from your schedule for yourself this will keep you sane, let the kids and their daddy have some fun alone. ·;;;;;;;Play with your baby and laugh a lot. Every night, we three me, my husband and my baby have a cuddling session in bed. We play with him at night and trust me this 15 minutes is like a stress buster and it helps us to sleep better. Life is always going to be busy, everyone gets only 24 hours, how wisely you utilize it, depends on you. Just a little planning and time management will make your life much easier and you little less frustrated.; There will be time, when things will not be as planned, don’t stress over it. Take a moment to sit back, relax, and have a coffee! Do comment and let me know if you have any tips to add-in will love your inputs. P.S. This is my personal opinion and I respect every mother’s decision. Working or staying at home is a personal choice.
