hey,i came again with a new topic on prematurity...

Today i will discuss some health conditions can preterm baby have??
• Apnea- this is a pause for 20 sec or more in breathing..Preterm babies have apnea sometimes...it may happen together with slow heartrate...
•Intraventicular hemorrage (IVH)-This is the problem of bleeding in brain..In our brain there is a fluid filled space called ventricals..and it usually happens near ventricals in the centre part of a brain..
•Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA)-

This is a heart related disease,happens in the connection called ductus arteriosus between two major blood vessels near the heart..If the ductus doesnt close properly after birth,a baby can have respiratory problem or heart failure..
•Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP)-This is an abnormal growth of blood vessels in the eyes...this causes vision loss...
so guys these r only some health conditions i hv discussed above ...I will share some other on my other posts...
