South Indian Beetroot chutney 😋

Cooking time - 15 mins

Ingredients

1. 2 medium size Beetroot - Grated

2. ~20 Small/2 Big onion - cut them to small pieces

3. 1 full Garlic (~10 pieces)

4. Red chillies as per taste

5. Curry leaves and coriander leaves

7. Small lemon sized tamarind

8. Chana dal/splitted Bengal gram and urad dal ~7 count each

9. Coriander seeds - 3 spoons

10. Cumin seeds - 2 spoons

11. Oil - 2 spoons

12. Salt as per taste
Method

😋Add 2 spoon oil in a medium flamed tawa

😋Add chana dal/Bengal gram and urad dal

😋Add coriander seeds and cumin seeds

😋Stir well

😋Add onions, garlic, curry leaves, red chillies, salt

😋Stir till the raw smell goes. (Beetroot color gets changed, can see shrinked Beets.)

😋Take the tawa off the stove. Allow to cool.

😋Add tamarind and coriander leaves.

😋Grind all these with very less water. Chutney gives extra taste when it is in thick consistency.
Beetroot chutney ready!!!
Try this chutney with Dosa, Idly and white rice.
