"Being a woman,

We always judged by other women

Underestimated by every other men".

Here comes with an incident in my family.

My MIL has three DIL including me and am the youngest one. All are from different states and living various places. Eldest one is from Kashmir and they settled there itself, occasionally they come and stay with her and it is not like the usual MIL and DIL relationship in my view as I met them together twice in this span of five years. They just come like a guests, stay with her for sometime and go back.

They got two kids, Elder one is 15 years old daughter who looks Slim (actually she is not too chubby).

Two days back, we got my MIL here. My hubby showed some family pictures of his elder brother's which is sent by his brother to his mom.

While seeing it, she noticed that her grandaughter is too thin. Then she added, "look at Humaira(grandaughter)..! She looks Slim and dull. It is because her mom made her daughter to do dishes and washing and not taking care her properly". Though she's kind enough towards all our family members, she can simply pass a comment like that (my two SILs also feeling that way too) how can they be feel different if they brought up like this.

Mostly men in family have stuffed with other business so they neither noticed not commented. It is just because they wired differently.

But my question is, "This is how, we women, are wired of? " I just need to rethink about it.

My mind voice to MIL; "why can't you ask this to your son? Don't you think its his responsibility too? Being your DIL is not at all your license to judge her?".

Hmm.. Yes... Being DILs mind voice , it doesn't work well with your old fashioned thoughts. I have some own experiences before and I don't want to waste my voice go in vein.

If my hubby reads this, he would respond me, " Then what are you doing this for my mom? " but for my hubby's kind info: "I'm not judging, just reacting with the silly comments passed on every mother by a woman itself. That's it".

Dear mommies, Have you ever judged or underestimated by anyone at family or workplaces? I know it must be yes. Then pls share me how you handled it?

Ohhoo wow super thoughtful pic Ashika Imthiyaz 😍Well what to say dear it's a part of all DILs it seems...the best way to treat them is being diplomatic that's the only thing I learned after my marriage....no body will appreciate you for your goodness but they eager to pin point you at every step...just do what you feel good n move on....no argument no other negative impression just handle with your smile n locked lips😉 Hubby is a better option to convince or make him realise the things around better let him manage...cheers 😍😘😘

judging is a problem with with this great social bees. when u feel bad share it ,express it and put it in minds dustbin without any option of recycle, it happens with me often ,n with other like me too. what we can do is we should not become like them and never judge anyone based on circumstances or anything, in the words of prasoon joshi rightly said -' one life is not enough to judge any one'... hugs to u ashi... pic is so awesome

it's so common to b judged... people think they know everything and we know nothing... it's better to ignore and move on else we will b depressed... if any such thing happens with me I share it with some one and then just move on...
