Blocks + Cartoon = What every kid dreams of!
My son could not begin to contain his excitement at the threshold of PVR. Impatience was taking over my 6-year old while we were waiting to get seated at the cinema. Once the 3D glasses were worn, he could not begin to control the thrill of the extremely energetic, massively witty & stylish film that “The Lego Batman Movie” is.
The creators knew exactly where to hit the right note to make it an entertainment for children as well as adults. The movie projects a very apt mix of kiddie adventures and Batman’s pain (of being alone or not). People behind the Lego franchise are undeniably attentive to all the million little details to make a fantastic movie such as this.
Batman’s password to enter Wayne Manor is “Iron Man sucks.” Ha ha ha!
Joker yearns to have a hate relationship with Batman, but Batman does not do ’ships. References to batman through the years, the avengers, a hell lot of mockery, silliness & spoofs at every step keep the adults entertained.
Somehow, the cartoon one captivated me more than the real version.
Yes, it’s running in theatres right now & I reckon all you mommies & daddies to take your kids at once!
