Body shaming still is a societal norm!

How many of you have gone through this in their lifetime? How often do we hear this from relatives, friends, colleagues or even strangers mocking behind our back, or even on social media platforms. Fact is that four out of five women hear this too often and the people who keep taunting you are close to you usually..agree?

Body-shaming can lead to a vicious cycle of judgment and criticism.  Messages from people and from each other often imply that we should want to change, that we should care about looking slimmer, smaller, and tanner.  And if we don’t, we worry that we are at risk of being the target of someone else’s body-shaming comments

Mothers do fall prey in this very naturally because of their ever changing bodies and readily tagged as ‘fat’, ‘not fit’, ‘couch potato’, ‘not like before’, ‘yummy mummy’ by our societal norms. I have had experienced this coming from very close people and I know many of you go through this..my question to you is why is it even required to be perfect?when we are all beautiful in the way we are created imperfectly perfect. Does that even matter?

Few questions that pops in my mind are,
🔹Is it required to change our appearance to fit in this world?
🔹Even if we change our appearance..are we still perfect?
🔹Does looks and perfect body really matters..which will fade away with time?

@616ef89691df97001315b07a Yes everyone has right to feel happy in their own shapes, sizes and skin...but being fat and curvy isn’t a health issue unless and until you fall in the category of obese people.. agree with you that fitness should be a thing...but everyone can’t be fit because some bodies are different and should be treated with pride! As God created us in different ways.. thanks for commenting 🤗
