It's not an issue but nothing to be nervous of and his weaning is not a race, no need to rush and you are not late. Its always better to give home cooked natural food.

First no cerelac because cerelac is full of sugar, check the ingredients in the pack. 3 days rule is obsolete now so no need to follow, start with any vegetable puree tomorrow, carrot puree may be, simply pressure cook the carrot and blend it in a mixer, add ghee and offer. Next day offer pumpkin, then beetroot. 2 weeks stick to purees then quickly transion to hand smashed. Please join Traditional weaning group in Facebook, you will be benefited and learn a lot.

@5fedec01cccb6d0014097596 Today he had plain rice water without rice just the starchy water. My sister is saying u already started late and he needs nutrition now so give him cerelac dissolved in milk tomorrow. I was under impression that we have to follow 3 day rule before introducing anything new. But she said since cerelac will also be rice flavor I can give it tomorrow. What do i suggest?
