Ingredients :
1.Toor dal - ¼ cup
2.Moong Dal - ¼ cup
3.Bottle Gourd -1 cup chopped
4.Water -1.5 cups
5.Tomato - 1 medium sized
6. Asafoetida/Hing - ⅛ tsp
7.Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
8. Ghee - A tinge
Preparation :
1.Take the soaked toor and masoor in a pressure cooker add water, tomatoes, Bottle gourd , hing, turmeric powder
2. Pressure cook it for 3 whistles in medium flame.
3. Mash it slightly using a spoon avoiding lumps.
4. Boil it in low flame to get the required consistency if watery.
5. Serve lukewarm and feed with baby spoon
Note: Breastfeeding is advised until 12 months and beyond as it is a rich source of nutrients for the baby
