Brown Poha 3 cups
Medium Potato (boiled and cut into cubes) 1 nos
tomato cut into cubes 1 nos
medium Onion (chopped) 1 nos
Green Peas (boiled) optional 1/4 cups
Green Chillies (slit) 2 nos
Curry Leaves 10-12 nos
Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
Oil 2 tsp
Roasted Peanuts 2 tbsp
Turmeric Powder, optional 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
garam masala 1/2 tsp
Fresh Coriander Leaves chopped 1 tbsp
Way to Prepare
--Wash and Soak the brown pressed rice for 5 minutes and drain the water completely.
--Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, onion and green chillies and sauté for a while till the onion changes color.
--Toss in the tomatoes, potatoes and stir and add roasted peanuts and turmeric powder to it.
--Cook for two-three minutes.
--Once the potato is cooked, add brown pressed rice or poha, 2 pinches sugar and salt and cook till soft.
--Add green peas, lemon juice, garam masala and coriander leaves and mix well.Serve hot with green chutney and namkeen of your choice #instantrecipes
