epidural has its own pros and cons..and has some side effects as well and <u>majorly</u> taking epidural leads to c section only..so go through your choices carefully and than decide..I was given epidural after inducing labor for almost 24 hours..and ended up having an emergency c section..<br> It is not dangerous though and does not harm your spine..don't Google much ..n ask your doc for your <u>options</u>

I've taken epidural for the birth of my boys exactly two years apart.. Absolutely no problem.. Take good care of yourself, get massage and eat some edible gum laddoos (they really work with your backache, if any) in your postpartum time

It is not dangerous .. But wanna share my personal experience .. That point of injection still pains after 10 months of delivery .. May be its not painful for many other moms .. But pray that u have a normal delivery without any epidural
