#Cesarean / C-section Any mom who has had a Cesarean knows what this moment feels like
For those that haven't had a cesarean this is generally what prepping for a cesarean looks like. Some may see it as scary, however it is also a moment that makes you feel excitement as you know you're only minutes away from meeting your tiny little human Now I'm not going to say it is an easy process because any mum who has been through the process knows ( I have gone through this thrice); it's not, and let's be real, nobody likes getting a needle- especially in the spine. Woman who have a cesarean birth know that's its birth and it is imperative that everyone knows this too. Often women who give birth this way are made to feel or even themselves feel as though they have failed as woman + they really didn't get to experience normal birth, but we will continue to shout this from the roof tops - cesarean birth IS birth and it is just as empowering
When you look at the meaning of birth it states; "The emergence of a baby or another young from the body of its mother; the start of life as a physically seperate being" Cesarean birth is just as challenging as a vaginal birth + often at times with a story behind the scar. The scar may not be seen as pretty + often the women doesn't want it but to all the cesarean mum's out there be proud of it, be proud of your birth story because ultimately that's how you welcomed the love of your life into this great big crazy wonderful world! this is a spinal block, it is a similar procedure to an epidural, all birth is amazing but this post is just to help Cesarean Mums through a tough time and to show the emotions before and after the surgery. PS. I did not write this as I am not good at writing and someone did this for me and thanks to her she made me express my thoughts in her words.

I am also a c section mom but it doesn't make me or anyone else who has gone through this less a mother...a c section mom is also scared of the delivery...she is also waiting to see her bundle of joy...she is also worried but ready to take all the pain...and she too goes through a lot of pain...she too; brings up her child the same way like any other mom does...so its #I am a c section mom too...and am proud of it.
