Constipation in babies and kids could be a result of a new food introduced to them, dehydration, or indigestion. During constipation your kid might get cranky, cry often, experience bloating or stomach pain, and may show less interest in food. But we all know that adequate intake of nutrients is a must for them to support their growth and development as well as relieve constipation. 
We all know that breastmilk is the best option for babies but besides that for the ones above 6-8 months who have been introduce to soild food, here are a few foods that you can feed your little one during constipation.

Soups and broth (broccoli soup, tomato beetroot soup, vegetable soup, spinach soup, or dal water).
Easy to digest foods (dal rice, khichdi, dahlia, or curd rice).
Fruits with high water content (watermelon, orange, or berries).
Fluids like fresh juices, and fruit smoothies with seeds.
Green leafy vegetables and fruits (spinach, fig, apple, or avocado)

Avoid foods like fried foods, sugary foods, red meat, junk food, frozen foods, and processed foods as they can worsen the condition.
