During fasting we are not supposed to eat non-veg, hence I feel one should not have non-veg when consuming Rajgira as a meal because it is a superfood containing high amount of protein and nutrients. Rajgira has no known toxicities and is good for general consumption.

Rajgira is one of the commonly used ingredients for Hindu religious fasting. Apart from these parathas you can also make Rajgira ki poori and Rajgira kheer for vrat or upwas.
Amaranth is high in protein and has an abundance of nutrients like calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium. Also, this is the only grain to have vitamin C. It also has lysine, an amino acid, that helps to absorb calcium. Since it contains 2x more calcium than milk, it can reduce the risk of osteoporosis.
One grain many benefits.

Use it in galaxy, laddo, porridge, upma, roti, paratha.
