"Dal Rice

Ingredients :
Rice - 1 cup
Toor dal - ½ cup
Small onions- 10 (or) Big Onion - 1 medium sized
Tomato - 1 medium sized
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Water - 3 cups
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Hing - a pinch

Preparation :
1. Wash rice and toor dal together and soak it in warm water for 20 minutes.
2. Slice onions, chop tomatoes finely.
3. Heat a pressure cooker with ghee and hing .Then add onions saute them nicely until golden brown.
4. Add tomatoes. Fry tomatoes then add turmeric.
5. Add soaked rice & dal mix well. Add water and bring it to a boil.
6. Cook everything in a medium flame for three to four whistles.
7. Stir nicely for a smooth consistency.
8. Feed with a baby spoon
