Research says Eating dates after 36th week of Pregnancy helps go into labor spontaneously, avoid induction , and also have a shorter Labor time .

How ?

Dates have oxytocin - like effect on the body leading to increased sensitivity of the uterus - It helps stimulate uterine contractions .

Dates are also good as a laxative , which also indirectly stimulates uterine contractions .

Dates contain natural sugars that break down easily in the body and do not spike blood sugar levels .

Dates are full of fiber , relieves constipation , lowers ur risk of Preeclampsia .

You can begin eating dates in Pregnancy as early as u can . Till 36th week , may be 1 or 2 in a day .

However after 36th week , 6 dates a day are recommended to show an effect on uterus .

Dates alone, will definitely not help. There are many exercises and right food go into developing your baby, preparing your baby and body for natural Birth. <br> Quick tip - target going into labor naturally. Eventually, what you do in labor &amp; how well does your baby cooperate will tell you the result of the birth process.

In my opinion, you should soak them overnight. Have 1-2 is always okay for all months of Pregnancy.
