Dear all, my 4 month 10 days old baby pooping 5 to 6 times per day since 20 days and some times it is green coloured and wired. earlier she pooped only once daily. consulted the pediatrician three times and used the medicine but medication is not cured the pooping. i am very much worrying about this, please help me any suggestions
If the baby is exclusively breast fed then multiple poops every day are normal. If the baby is passing green poop try a breast compression massage while feeding the baby. This will allow more of the fat to pass into the breast milk and help the foremilk and hind milk balance. If there is mucus in the poop then it should be checked by the doctor. You may want to have a stools test to reassure yourself that there is no infection.
