Dear fellow mommies...need urgent help...my 5.5 month old daughter had loose motions 5 days back. Besides meds, doc recommended a stool test. Now stool test shows tat she has caught ecoli infection. Doc is advising to give chloramphenicol (which likely to have allergic reactions) or get the kid admitted. I am really in two minds as kid is cheerful n doesn't look sick n her past two stools were normal (not greenish n watery as she was having during loose motions). Should I take second opinion or get the stool test done again? Pls help.

My kid passed normal stool one time since morning and had peed 6-7 times.
