Diaper rash in babies is almost unavoidable. The constant friction between the skin and the diaper, wet or dirty diapers, and skin dryness are some major reasons leading to diaper rash.
To treat these diaper rashes and also prevent them from reoccurring here are a few things to keep in mind:

Change the diaper frequently. Avoid keeping wet or dirty diapers on for a long time.
Always pat dry the skin with a soft cloth. Avoid rubbing it.
Moisturize the baby’s skin well especially the diaper area with natural oil or mild baby-safe moisturizers.
Apply baby-safe powder in the diaper area.
Choose the correct diaper size. In case the diaper is too tight it will increase the risk of diaper rash due to constant friction.
Give some diaper-free time to your baby.
Switch to cloth diapers.

Note: In case the rashes do not heal in 3-4 days do consult a doctor.
