Do prebiotics really help in building immunity? If so, please suggest a formula milk that contains the same.

Yes, prebiotics is very much essential for a baby's growth and immunity. It is present in breastmilk in abundance. Try to feed the baby as much as possible. No formula can replicate breastmilk.
Aptamil sure contains some prebiotics, as compare to other brands so is useful.

I know of Aptamil formula milk that contains prebiotics in it. But do consult the peaditric first before you introduce anything to the baby.
