Doc my baby is 4 month old (6August2019). She is exclusively breastfed but sometimes my breastmilk drops lows.I am not comfortable with formula feeding at this juncture. Can I give small feeds of desi cow milk through pavding during those times when I experience shortage of breastmilk supply?

Rebecca even after feeding she takes feed again after sometime....its like she is not full and that cause severe backpain issues now to me. It sometimes very difficult and seems as if milk is not sufficient!

Hi Richa . NO please. Cow milk will put the baby to risk, it can't be digested by baby's digestive system. Cow milk should be given post 12 months. As you are 4 months postpartum your breastmilk supply is already established so no need to give anything. How do you know its reduced? You cant judge your supply with hand pressing or by pumping. Do not think of all this, Just feed the baby on demand. Your baby will decide if it's enough or not.
