does anyone put cervical stiches with low lying placenta. my dr. said with low lying placenta cervival stiches is risky. as I lost my previous baby due to short cervix. Stiches r necessary this time. but my placenta is low

I had low lying placentra nd this caused bleeding in first trimester itself...it didnot stop with bad rest as well hcg injections..so went for cervical stitches.it helped a lot nd I could manage to go to office till 1 week before my c- section.chck with ur doc.they r the right people

My sister had a low lying placenta. She didn't have any cervical stitch but she was advised bed rest all through the pregnancy. No traveling and not much walking. In some case the placenta too moves up gradually. Your doctor will be able to assess your position the best. So trust your doc, discuss with her/him openly and take the necessary precautions.
