Dr. Divyani Patel hello doctor, I underwent a section last dec.my stitch, though has healed completely, it has developed into a keloid and is also painful and itchy at times . Have been using a calamine lotion names Caladryl and Hirudal as local application. Showed it to my gynecologist.. please let me know what can I apply on it for local application to soothe the itch.
You can continue applying caladryl lotion.
If no relief maybe you can try coconut oil
If at all you want to get rid of it you will have to see a surgeon as there are some injection which are given in the keloid to give you some relief
