Dr mugdha I need ur advice , I feed my 24 days boy he passes stoll normal nd urnine also normal . he has gained 400 to 500 gms in 24 days. He has got cord infection all ok . malish wali nd my family members r saying his tummy is not getting full nd he is not getting enough milk . I feed got long time nd on demand . doc said if needed give samilac . do u think I should give top feed nd if yes with spoon or bottle . I'm confused. Do u think I see lactation specialist. Y is baby not feeling full . he looks tiny .
baby is just 24 days old... there are many people to mislead that you are not getting sufficient milk.. it will be on a very rare case..<br>
dont come to any conclusions right now... <br>
just observe your baby... <br>
pee count is more than 7 times a day..<br>
gaining the weight then everything is normal..<br>
during the 1st.month babies weight is not increased too much..<br>
you can see alot of difference from 3 month onwards. <br>
so just relax..

If baby is latching well, pee count is more than 6-8 times in 24 hours and atleast 500 gm weight gain in 1 month, then u do not have any supply issue. If you are still confused or anxious then do see a Lactation Consultant.

hello... can you please mention baby's birth weight and present weight... after birth usually baby loses weight up to 15-20days, but your baby has gained weight up to 500 gms... it is a very good sign.. if baby poo n pee is in normal count then no need to worry about feed.. he is having good feed and so the output.. and feed baby every 2nd-3rd hourly and also on demand.. i dont think he is in need of formula..
