My doctor had done only 1 scan in 4th month. After that no other scan. Now my child is 5 months old that too I had normal delivery.

Uve got all good advice.
On an average 4 to 5 scans r done.
Early preganncy- 6 to 8 weeks
NT scan
Anomaly scan 18 to 20 weeks
Growth n well being scan 30 to 32 weeks- if ur doc needs info
Late third trimester scan- 36 week on
Maybe accompanied by a Doppler scan.
These r basic scans. According to ur case history and also ur gynec u may be asked fr additional scans.
Different doctors tell different times. But few are mandatory like NT/NB, double marker, one detailed to see development of all organs, then to see if baby has taken position and is moving down.
