ere was a Cooking Workshop for kids at Crafts, Deli, Bistro Bar in Phoenix Market City, Kurla, Mumbai. It was indeed a very nice experience for both mothers and kids. All kids were really super excited about cooking. We were been informed that kids will be cooking Pasta or Spaghetti under their moms guidance, but as soon as we reached there Chef announced that we will preparing spaghetti using green & yellow zucchini and carrots. I was so happy, as I avoid giving my son Junk food ,specially maida which is a bad source of carbohydrates. There was a machine through which we could peel zucchini in form of spaghettis.
Firstly,Chef demonstrated how to use, and later he allowed all the kids to use one by one.
After it was done, he made an awesome vegetable spaghetti without using Cheese or white sauce.It was so healthy and delicious that kids really enjoyed eating. I would love to share this recipe ...
Ingredients:-
Yellow and green zucchini Carrots Onion chopped ( 1/2) Garlic chopped ( 1/2 tbsp) Fresh basil leaves chopped Parsley chopped Olives Red chill flakes ( optional) Salt & pepper according to your taste. Roasted almonds Olive oil
Method :-
Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onion and garlic , let it cook for few seconds. Further add red chilli flakes , salt and pepper according to your taste. Add all veggies , olives .
Add basil leaves and parsley in last to retain its colour and flavour.
Garnish it with roasted almond. Later , Chef took all the kids in their kitchen which was so neat and tidy. All breads, pasta and spaghetti, different types of sauces were prepared in their kitchen itself. I know many mothers would be thinking from where to buy this machine , without which this healthy recipe is of no use .. Please do visit Amazon site, you can purchase from there.
